Taylor Swift Drops Four New ‘Vault’ Tracks for ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’
Taylor Swift has revealed four bonus tracks for her upcoming re-recording of her 2014 album, 1989. The new tracks, titled “Is It Over Now?”, “Now That We Don’t Talk”, “Say Don’t Go”, and “Suburban Legends”, were announced on August 17, 2023, after fans solved a series of puzzles on Google.
The announcement of the new tracks came as a surprise to many fans, as Swift had not previously mentioned that there would be any bonus tracks on the re-recording of 1989. However, she has been releasing “From the Vault” tracks, which are previously unreleased songs that were recorded during the original album sessions, with each of her re-recordings so far.
The four new tracks are all co-written by Swift, and are said to be in the same vein as the original 1989 album. “Is It Over Now?” and “Now That We Don’t Talk” are both described as up-tempo pop songs, while “Say Don’t Go” and “Suburban Legends” are more mellow and reflective.
Fans are already excited to hear the new tracks, and many are speculating about what other songs might be included on the re-recording of 1989. Some of the most popular fan theories include songs like “Safe & Sound”, “Eyes Open”, and “Clean”.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) is set to be released on October 27, 2023.
