Olivia Rodrigo had a hilarious encounter with Jimmy Kimmel’s kids on the school run on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The Grammy-winning singer was walking down the street when she saw Kimmel’s son, Billy, and daughter, Jane, walking to school. Rodrigo stopped to say hello and the kids were understandably excited to meet her.
“I’m a huge fan of yours!” Billy exclaimed. “I love your music!”
“Thank you so much!” Rodrigo replied. “That’s so sweet of you to say.”
“Can I have a selfie with you?” Jane asked.
“Of course!” Rodrigo said.
The three of them took a selfie together and then Rodrigo went on her way. But before she left, she had one more surprise for the kids.
“Hey, kids,” she said. “I’m going to be performing on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ tonight. Do you want to come see me?”
“Yes!” Billy and Jane shouted in unison.
“Great!” Rodrigo said. “I’ll see you there.”
Billy and Jane were so excited that they could barely contain themselves. They couldn’t believe that they were going to see their favorite singer perform live.
That evening, Billy and Jane sat in the front row of the audience at ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ They were so close to the stage that they could almost reach out and touch Rodrigo. When Rodrigo performed her hit song “Drivers License,” Billy and Jane sang along at the top of their lungs.
After the show, Billy and Jane went backstage to meet Rodrigo again. They told her how much they enjoyed her performance and thanked her for making their day.
“You’re welcome,” Rodrigo said. “It was so much fun meeting you both.”
Billy and Jane will never forget the day that they met Olivia Rodrigo. It was a day that they will cherish forever.
