Travis Kelce may have suffered a minor injury in the second quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 8th, 2023, but he still managed to help his team to a 27-20 victory. And even though his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, wasn’t there to cheer him on in person, Kelce reportedly believes that she’s still his “good luck charm.”
“He jokes she is his good luck charm,” a source told The Messenger on Sunday, after Swift was a no-show at Kelce’s game.
Swift has attended the Chiefs’ winning games against the Chicago Bears and the New York Jets over the past two weekends, but she was notably absent from Sunday’s game at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
Despite her absence, Kelce still managed to put up a solid performance against the Vikings. He caught five passes for 81 yards and a touchdown. He also played a key role in helping the Chiefs to convert on several third-down attempts.
After the game, Kelce was asked about Swift’s absence. He simply smiled and said, “She’s still my good luck charm, even if she’s not here in person.”
Kelce and Swift have been dating since early 2023, and they have quickly become one of the most popular celebrity couples in the world. They are often seen together at public events, and they frequently post photos and videos of each other on social media.
Swift is a huge fan of football, and she has been seen cheering on Kelce from the stands at several Chiefs games this season. She has also worn Chiefs gear to various events, and she has even posted photos of herself watching Chiefs games on TV.
It’s clear that Kelce and Swift are very much in love, and it’s also clear that Kelce believes that she’s his good luck charm. Whether or not that’s actually true, it’s certainly a nice sentiment.
