UW-Green Bay Celebrates Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month with Lotería Night, Noche Latina, and Lambeau Field Event
Green Bay, WI – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) campus and community will continue to celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month this weekend with a variety of events.
On Friday, September 30, the UWGB Spanish & Latin American Studies program will host a Lotería Night at the Phoenix Club from 6:00-8:00 PM. Lotería is a traditional Mexican bingo game that uses images instead of numbers. The event is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, October 1, the Noche Latina event will be held at the UWGB Phoenix Club from 5:00-9:00 PM. Noche Latina is a celebration of Hispanic/Latinx culture and heritage. The event will feature food, music, dancing, and cultural performances. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for general admission.
Also on Saturday, October 1, the Green Bay Packers will be hosting the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at Lambeau Field. The event will feature food, music, and cultural activities. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
